Woden client Newcastle Systems was acquired by TouchPoint, Inc. to join their Intelligent Operations platform. Newcastle is a leading manufacturer of mobile-powered workstations and modular power systems.
“We are excited to add the Newcastle Systems technology, expertise and solutions to our Intelligent Inventory Management business,” said Staci Kroon, President & CEO of TouchPoint, Inc., “as this expanded offering further enhances our ability to serve the growing needs of the inventory management and e-commerce markets.”
Newcastle engaged Woden to create their StoryKernel. After years of growth during the pandemic, the brand needed a new way to define its value as warehouses increasingly looked to automation.
The resulting story positioned Newcastle as “the human element of automation,” which enabled the brand to compete in the automation category while preserving its long-term focus on the worker.
“Woden helped us uncover, define, and reframe our company narrative through a detailed process,” stated Kevin Ledversis. “We’re impressed with their creative insight and willingness to immerse themselves in our business.”
TouchPoint is preserving the Newcastle brand and story, ensuring the “human element of automation” extends long into the future.
