Woden client EchoNous, the leader in portable AI-guided ultrasound tools and software, raised $60 million from Kennedy Lewis Investment Management to fuel the commercial launch of Kosmos, its flagship handheld point-of-care ultrasound platform.
EchoNous engaged Woden just as it was bringing its first mobile ultrasound products to market. Like many innovative healthcare companies, its initial messaging emphasized the product and its capabilities. Through the StoryKernel, Woden shifted this focus to EchoNous’ true heroes, the nurses who use Kosmos each day.
Woden helped EchoNous articulate the potential in Kosmos: a future where high-performance ultrasound is no longer confined to the imaging suite. The approach for telling this story to value analysis committees and healthcare institutions was captured in EchoNous’ StoryGuide.
CEO Kevin Goodwin framed the opportunity plainly: “This investment marks a turn toward an exciting future. in which clinical bedside medicine is driven by higher-performance ultrasound technologies.”
With $60 million and a commercially ready product, EchoNous is positioned to make that potential a reality.
