TerraPay entryway.

Woden client TerraPay announced they raised $100 million in Series B funding. TerraPay is the leading global payments infrastructure company, and this round will be used to accelerate their mission of expanding secure, instant cross-border payments.

TerraPay initially partnered with Woden after their Series A. The company had experienced significant early stage growth but required a narrative to differentiate against competitoors and scale globally.

Woden repositioned TerraPay away from being a payments provider, instead become essential financial infrastructure—the “global payments highway.” This strategic narrative became the foundation for rapid expansion, helping the company double their footprint and align employees and partners behind a unifying purpose.

CEO Ambar Sur attributed this transformation to Woden’s ability to focus them on what mattered most: “There were too many of us thinking too many things about TerraPay. Woden channeled that into one: small payments deserve safe, borderless journeys.”

To bring this focus to TerraPay’s more than 500 employees across 5 continents, Woden aligned leadership around the key concepts of their narrative at a collaborative session, the StorySeminar, and provided them with the StoryGuide: a blueprint to continue telling their story as they grow.

TerraPay’s growth, from 60 countries to more than 200 and a $9.6MM Series A to a Series B more then ten times larger is a testament to how strategic narrative accelerates companies with great teams and great products.
